Medina Valley Bow Hunts

The Jagge07 Ranch, located in Medina County, is one of the premier bow-only hunting ranches in Texas.  The ranch, which has been passed down through 5 generations, offers 1100 acres of high fenced brushland housing whitetail, turkey, axis deer, rams and hogs.

This ranch is under the Texas Parks and Wildlife MLDP level 3 program allowing hunters to hunt whitetail deer through February if we choose (normally our bucks start loosing horns mid January so we hunt them till then) without having to use your own license tags. All whitetail tags will be provided by the ranch. 

All hunts are unguided (DIY).   The ranch can be divided into sections depending on the size and number in each group.   A booking group of six or more hunters may reserve the entire ranch providing that no other prior bookings were made for that hunt date.  Although there are a fair number of blinds and stands already set up on the ranch we strongly recommend bringing your own. We have eleven blinds with automatic corn feeders feeding twice daily year around.  Three are ground blinds and the other eight are tripods for a single person.  Average shot distance is 20-25yards.  

We also have a 85 acre pasture we call "hog heaven" stocked with hogs that we periodically trap from the main part of ranch and relocate if hunting hogs is your fancy.  There is one automatic feeder with a ladder stand set up on it and 4 ground blinds with a PVC tube staked to the ground.  Fill the tube with corn and set up your motion senor light and wait for them to show after dark.
